The Mission
What is Good Soil Society?
The name Good Soil Society was inspired in a couple of different ways — both in reference to the parable of the sower in the Bible, and by the primary focus of regenerative farming. What do these both have in common? They show that what you reap depends on what you sow in. Good soil produces good food.
A widespread problem in our current food industry is that the meat and produce on our grocery store shelves are drastically lacking in the nutrients they once had, and our health suffers for it.
Our goal is to give anyone — no matter the size of their yard — the educational tools to grow their own nutrient-dense food, and to connect them with a community of growers doing the same, so there's always a trusted source nearby for whatever they can't grow themselves.
Built by a family, for families
We couldn't find what we needed, so we built it.
We're a husband and wife in Central Texas. We came to this the long way around — a health journey, a stack of doctors, a cabinet of supplements that didn't fix the underlying thing. The answer ended up under our feet.
Good Soil Society is the resource we wish we'd had years ago. The practical bridge between “something is wrong” and “here's how to fix it on your own land, this season.”
